On this last day of November, one day shy of the sixth-month anniversary of the groundbreaking, here’s what we got:
*Water is still being pumped out of the basement area. Grading will resume as soon as all of the water is gone.
*Demo of the south wall of the main building is underway.
*Welding of the pipes in the northwest section of the steam tunnel is ongoing. The tie-in could come as soon as Monday, December 12.
*University Mechanical is expected to start its work in the northeast section of the steam tunnel next Monday, beginning with the installation of the roller guides for the pipes. Also, the walls for manhole #11 are expected to be poured this Friday.
